The Covid19 outbreak reminded us of the values that we lost in life. We cannot decide on the place where we were born, as well as the timing of the arrival of death.
We experienced the bitter reality of death and the death could come suddenly. We had many painful deaths.
Covid 19 showed to us that death is inevitable. While a person diagnosed with cancer is waiting for death, that the healthy person next to him may experience sudden and rapid death sad due to covid19. So, There was no point in experiencing expectant grief.
The most painful aspect of these deaths was the fact that the person could not see their loved ones for the last time, despite the predicted future of death, there was no chance to say goodbye and due to machines in intensive care units. Dr Serpil Ozsezgin İstanbul, Turkey
